茶道 Japanese tea ceremony

切り柄杓。好きな茶道の所作の１つです。この所作は、風炉のお点前のものです（茶道では、１年を、「炉」と「風炉」という２つのシーズンに分けています）。

This is one of my favorite movements in Japanese tea ceremony called "Kiri-bishaku". This movement is for the brazier season's procedure (In Japanese tea ceremony the year is devided into two seasons, the sunken hearth season and the brazier season.).

おしゃべりな妊婦さん Talkative pregnant woman

イラストを描くために、お気に入りのカフェに行きました。

テーブルで絵を描いていると、妊婦さんとそのお友達がお店にやってきて、私の席の隣に座りました。彼女たちのお喋りが始まり、そして・・・悪夢も始まりました。妊婦さんは、ものすご～い大きな声で延々と一方的に喋りまくるのです。他のお客さんは苦笑いをしながらお店を出て行きましたが、彼女は気付く様子もなく、ひたすら喋り続けていました。私は、きっと彼女はお腹の赤ちゃんの分まで喋っているんだろうな、と思い、そして今日のイラストの題材を変更することにしました。

今日は彼女を描きました。きっと元気な子供を産むと思います。

Today I went to my favorite cafe to draw an illustration.

While I was drawing at the table, a pregnant woman and her friend came into the cafe and sat next to my table. When they started talking, the nightmare began. The pregnant woman talked continuously in a very loud voice. Her friend was just listening to her. Other customers were leaving the cafe and looking at her bitterly but she never noticed and kept talking. It was as if she were talking with the energy of two peopleーher and the baby.
Then I decided to change the subject of today's illustration and I drew her instead.
I think she will give birth to a healthy child.

夢日記 Dream journal

最近、しばらく逢っていない人から連絡を受けたり、逢ったりすることが多くあります。そして先日も、夢の中で、伯父に逢いました。伯父は、私が大学生の頃、50代にして亡くなりました。尊敬していた伯父でした。夢の中で、なぜか伯父は私を赤坂の天ぷらや（一度も行ったことはない）に誘い、二人で会話をしたのですが、内容は覚えていません。最近、ドイツに関する情報を受けることが多かったので、ドイツに住んでいた伯父を無意識に連想していたのかもしれません。

それとも、伯父は私に何か伝えたかったのでしょうか。

起きたら、涙が出ていました。

Recently, I have been contacted by friends whom I haven't seen in a while, and have met some of them. And few days ago, I met my uncle in my dream. My uncle died from diseases in his fifties. I was university student at that time. I respected him. In this dream, I don't know why but my uncle asked me to go to Tempura restaurant in Akasaka (I've never been there). We had a conversation but I don't remember what we talked about. Maybe some information about Germany I got recently remind me of him because he used to live in Germany for business.

Or did he want to tell me something?

I was crying when I woke up.
